Technology is swiftly taking over and charting the way forward for learning. Daily integration of
technology in all lessons is of greatest importance and is a necessity in the advancement of learners.
The effective integration of technology allows learners to be better prepared for the future. Epistemo
(2022)identifies that when teachers and students are exposed to technology it goes further than
the walls of the classroom. This then promotes the development of digital learners. Being
cognizant of these factors, it is the ITC Department's vision and purpose to implement useful
measures to:
Broaden the potential of digital technology integration to boost teaching, assessment, and learning to
better enable the students of IBPS to be more engaged in their environment, connect with others more
as well as boost their collabrotion skills being competent 21st century tech savvy learners.
To attain this, IBPS' goal is to ensure that all students are afforded the opportunity to gain the
essential technological skills throughout their tenure at the school. This would ably assist in their
transition to secondary school and beyond.
to this end, the ITC Department is mindful of all the stakeholders in education: teachers, management,
students, parents and the wider community to an extent and the pivotal role everyone has to play in
achieving this vision.
